Built a multiplayer virtual space engine from scratch

using WebSockets + Node.js + Three.js
deployed on a self-managed VPS -- check it out here (https://webcafe.dev)
with server-authoritative tick-based simulation
and distributed client rendering
supporting desktop + mobile (it's wonky on mobile I don't recommend)
